Can cats forecast the weather? Can cats relay any important message to their owners? Find out what happens to a woman named Priscilla who thinks her cat has passed important information on to her when I read my story “NO SNOW” at the next event of the Lit & Art at the Watermark series Jan. 25. “NO SNOW” was published in the 2014 issue of The Main Street Rag and was the subject of a blog post here Feb. 16, 2014.
Started in 2007 at the Watermark Gallery, the Lit & Art Reading Series showcases local, national, and international talent—fiction, poetry, nonfiction, memoir, original art, live music—all topped off with wine, food, and conversation.
Other featured readers this month include CL Bledsoe, Margo Christie, Sid Gold, and Charles Rammelkamp. Limestone Connection will share blues and folk-inspired originals and covers, with Jason Tinney on harmonica and Holly Morse-Ellington on ukelele. Manzar’s original art will be on display.
The fun will continue from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Watermark Gallery in the Bank of America Center, 100 S. Charles St., directly across from Baltimore’s inner harbor. If it’s not too long a journey for you, I hope to see you there.
