I knew this is short notice, but I want to alert everyone to World Book Night U.S. on April 23. This is an international celebration that is just spreading to the United States.  It’s a celebration of reading and books that will see tens of thousands of people share books with others in their communities across America to spread the joy and love of reading. World Book Night books are specially-produced, not-for-resale paperbacks, which volunteers will hand out in public areas to encourage people to read. It’s too late to be a volunteer giver, but let’s all find a way to celebrate some other way.
