This year I’m pleased to be one of the readers at the Baltimore Book Festival, taking place this weekend at the Baltimore Inner Harbor. I’ll be reading at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, at the CityLit Stage with the group from Lit & Art at the Watermark. Of course, I’ll be reading an excerpt from my new novel Surface and Shadow. The question is which scenes to read. I could read the scene in which Lydia first learns the rumor about Howard Galloway’s suspicious death. Or maybe the scene that shows her husband Jeff’s reaction when he finds out about Lydia’s quest to uncover the truth. Or maybe something else entirely.
